Official description of the call
FIRST. Beneficiaries People who meet the conditions indicated below may be beneficiaries of this aid: a) Have a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. b) Having lost the orthotic and orthopedic material; means of supporting oral communication; support products for personal autonomy and individual accessible transportation elements, as a consequence of the DANA produced between October 28 and November 4, 2024, necessary for personal autonomy. c) Have acquired new material from those mentioned above between October 30, 2024 and October 31, 2025. d) Be residents in Algemesí on a date prior to October 29, 2024. e) Have the prescription from the specialist doctor of the public health system. SECOND. Purpose The purpose of these bases is to regulate the procedure and requirements for the direct granting of aid to finance the acquisition of orthotic and orthopedic material; means of supporting oral communication; support products for personal autonomy and individual accessible transport elements, for people with disabilities equal to or greater than 33% registered in the town of Algemesí who, as a consequence of the DANA occurred between October 28 and November 4, 2024, had suffered irreparable loss or damage to the material or products available to them for their personal autonomy. THIRD. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of the subsidy are available on the Algemesí City Council website. (www.algemesi.net) FOURTH. Amount The amount of the aid will be equivalent to the total amount of the orthotic and orthopedic material, as well as the rest of the products or elements contemplated in the call, provided that this amount is duly justified by the corresponding invoice and/or budget. The aid will be conditional on the fact that a prior budget has been provided that allows assessing the need and suitability of the requested material, in the terms established by the applicable regulations. The aid will be conditional on there being sufficient budgetary provision on the part of this convening City Council at the time of granting. FIFTH. Deadline for submission of applications 1. The application for aid will be addressed to the Algemesí City Council using a form formalized for this purpose, starting the day following publication in the BOP and until the amount of the subsidy awarded has ended. 2. Likewise, it will be published on the City Council's municipal website and on the channels enabled for this purpose. 3. Applications may be submitted in person, at the Social Services Department building at Calle San Nicolau de Bari, 116. 4. They may also be submitted by any of the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
