RESOLUTION SOD/FORM/19/25, OF JULY 21, 2025, CALL FOR THE SODERCAN TRAINING AND TRAINING INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ON INTERNATIONALIZATION

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. All natural persons who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the scholarships provided for in the call: a) Possess Spanish nationality or nationality from a Member State of the European Union. b) Be of legal age and not have reached 30 years of age, as of January 1 of the year following the submission of the application. c) Possess an official university degree obtained in any Member State of the European Union or a bachelor's degree at the time of application. In all cases, the qualifications presented must be approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. d) Master the spoken and written Spanish language. e) Have a minimum accredited level of B2 in English. The language level will be accredited through degrees from Official Language Schools or others with national and international recognition and homologation, with only one degree per language being counted. The equivalence tables according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages will be used as a reference. f) Having been born or having been an administrative resident in Cantabria for a period equal to or greater than 3 years immediately prior to the date of publication of this call. g) Not having previously enjoyed another training scholarship of similar characteristics or analogous nature from any public or private administration or entity, national, European Union or international organizations (those granted by Chambers of Commerce, Autonomous Governments, ICEX, etc.) that, added to the scholarship that is the subject of this call, may exceed 24 months. h) Not having been separated, through disciplinary proceedings, from the service of any of the Public Administrations, nor being disqualified from performing public functions. Applicants whose nationality is not Spanish must also prove that they are not subject to disciplinary sanctions or criminal convictions that prevent, in their State, access to public service. i) Not suffer from illness, nor be affected by a physical or mental limitation that is incompatible with the performance of the scholarship. j) Not be subject to any of the circumstances provided for in article 12.2 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies. Second. Object. The purpose of the call is to grant scholarships for theoretical training and training practices on internationalization on a competitive basis for the training of young people in the field of international promotion and foreign trade, thus contributing to the internationalization of the business fabric. This call is framed within the Agreement between the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (Secretary of State for Commerce, General Directorate of International Trade and Investment) and the Society for Regional Development of Cantabria, S.A. (SODERCAN), through which the collaboration or cooperation of the Network of Commercial Offices of Spain in the training of regional internationalization scholarship holders is regulated, as well as the incorporation of said scholarship holders into the Network so that they acquire practical training in internationalization and foreign trade. The training and internship scholarship program on internationalization consists of two phases: a first phase of theoretical training and a second phase of practical training: 1. First Phase (Phase I): Consisting of providing the selected candidates, up to a maximum of 15, with theoretical training, through a specific training program, which will include information search techniques on international markets and thematic guides in international trade, international business strategy, international legal environment, marketing, business support programs. internationalization, among other concepts. The program will be tutored by the Project Manager designated by the SODERCAN New Market Prospecting and Internationalization Department. 2. Second Phase (Phase II): Practical training in the Economic and Commercial Offices abroad. A practical training scholarship will be assigned for each of the destinations listed below: DESTINATION.
