Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies for the 2025-2026 academic year for the learning of Basque, in Basque language courses taught by Euskaltegis or centers approved by HABE, and that meet the criteria established each year by HABE 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy a) Submit the completed application form (Annex I), along with the appropriate documentation within the corresponding deadlines. b) Have paid the registration fee by the time the course ends. The corresponding euskaltegi will confirm said payment in the evaluation report at the end of the course. c) Prove a minimum attendance of 85% in the Basque course. Applicants for aid for the unemployed must prove 90% attendance. For this, the start and end date of the course will be taken into account. 3. Subsidy amount There will be two types of subsidies, one of which excludes the others: 7.1. General subsidies: The amount of the subsidy will be as follows; - Courses at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 100% of the tuition paid. - C2 level courses, 50% of the tuition paid. To calculate the percentage of the subsidy, the initial level will be taken into account and not the level obtained. 7.2. Specific: depending on economic conditions. 100% of the tuition fee will be subsidized to people who prove any of the following circumstances: - Recipients of social emergency aid (AES) on the start date of the course. - Recipients of Income Guarantee Income (RGI) on the start date of the course. - Those who are unemployed during the course.
