Official description of the call
1. Approval of regulatory bases and publication to the official gazette In the ordinary session of the Corporation's Plenary Session on April 29, 2019, the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the implementation of cultural programs and activities by individuals, cultural entities and civic associations of the municipality of Amposta were approved. The announcement of the regulatory bases was published in the Official Gazette of the province on May 31, 2019, for a period of 20 days so that allegations or claims can be presented, making a reference to the publication in the DOGC in accordance with the provisions of article 124.2 of decree 179/1995, of June 13, by which the Regulation of works, activities and services of local entities is approved. 2. Maximum total amount and budget application The maximum amount to be granted in this call is 50,000 euros, and will be financed by budget application 01/334/48002 of the Municipal Budget for the year 2025. 3. Object and purpose The purpose of the call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting, justification and payment of the subsidies that granted by the Amposta City Council through the Culture and Historical Memory area, intended to finance cultural programs and activities by individuals, cultural entities and civic associations of Amposta, which are carried out between November 1, 2024 and October 27, 2025. The purpose of these subsidies is to promote citizen initiative, both individually and collectively, in projects and activities of a cultural nature, contributing to the financing and/or achievement of these, It considers cultural dissemination activities and programs, initiatives for the recovery and dissemination of cultural, traditional and popular heritage, to be subsidized; and animation and sociocultural training activities. 4. Award procedure The procedure for awarding these subsidies is processed on a competitive basis. 5. Requirements and accreditation1. Individuals, cultural entities and civic associations, duly registered in the Registry of Entities of the City Council, who are up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations, and provided that they are not included in other specific programs of the City Council, may apply for this subsidy.2. That they are up to date with their debts with the City Council, and that they are not involved in any of the cases of prohibition to obtain the status of beneficiary or collaborating entity provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS).3. That they have their headquarters in the municipality of Amposta.4. Comply with any other legal or regulatory obligation that may affect them.5. Applications will be submitted to the electronic headquarters (seu.amposta.cat) or to the General Registry of the Amposta City Council, within the maximum deadline set. 6. Bodies competent for the instruction and resolution of the procedure The body competent for the organization and instruction of the procedure will be the Department of Culture and Historical Memory, through its department. These phases will be developed in accordance with the provisions of the LGS. The competent body for the resolution of this subsidy will be the Local Government Board, by delegation of the mayor. 7. Eligible expenses Eligible expenses are considered to be those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are carried out within the deadline established in the call. An eligible expense is considered to be one that has actually been incurred during the period referred to, that is, from November 1, 2024 to October 27, 2025, and provided that the payment date is at most within the justification period of the subsidized activity. 8. Deadline for submission of applications Applications, together with the required documentation, must be submitted from the day following the publication of this call in the corresponding official gazette until September 14, 2025, to the electronic headquarters of the Amposta City Council, Catalog of Procedures section, Culture area, where you will find the line to request subsidies. Exceptionally, it can be processed in person at the Registry of the City Council of Amposta.
