Universidad Rey Juan Carlos RESOLUTION OF THE MAGNIFICENT RECTOR OF THE REY JUAN CARLOS UNIVERSITY WHICH APPROVES THE REGULATORY BASES AND MAKES PUBLIC THE CALL FOR THE GRANT OF AID FOR EXCELLENCE, CO-FINANCED BY THE SANTANDER BANK, AIMED AT STUDENTS WHO ARE STUDYING A UNIVERSITY MASTER'S DEGREE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE REY JUAN CARLOS UNIVERSITY IN THE 2025/26 COURSE BDNS: 853147 Extract from the Rectoral Resolution of the Rey Juan Carlos University of August 1, 2025, which approves the Regulatory Bases and makes public the Call for the granting of Aid for Excellence, co-financed by Banco Santander, aimed at students taking a Master's Degree for the first time university at the Rey Juan Carlos University in the 2025/26 academic year In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the Call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First: Beneficiaries This aid will be intended for Master's degree students enrolled in at least 60 ECTS in the 2025/26 academic year at the Rey Juan Carlos University. To obtain the aid that is the subject of this call, the beneficiaries must meet the requirements established therein: General Requirements To be a beneficiary of these aid, students must be enrolled, for the first time, in a Master's Degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University in the 2025/26 academic year and must meet the requirements detailed below: Be a new student in a Master's Degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University. To be a beneficiary of these aid, students must be enrolled, for the first time, in 60 ECTS credits in a Master's Degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University in the 2025/26 academic year. Students who request academic recognition of credits in the 2024/25 academic year must take into account that the recognized credits are not counted as credits enrolled in said academic year. Have completed, at the time of formalizing your application, the studies that have given you access to the university Master's degree in which the student is enrolled. Students who have accessed through conditional access will not be able to apply for the aid covered by this call unless they have completed said studies within the application submission period. Only students who are enrolled in centers of the Rey Juan Carlos University may attend this call. All applicants will have to complete the application through the Banco Santander scholarship platform: (www.santanderopenacademy.com) The qualification that gives access to the Master is a university qualification from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Have formalized and been up to date with payment of the registration fee for university studies leading to a Master's degree during the 2025/26 academic year at the Rey Juan Carlos University. No aid will be granted for Continuing Training degrees from the Rey Juan Carlos University. In the case of simultaneous two university master's degrees or enrollment in a double master's degree, aid will only be granted for one of the two master's degrees in which the student is enrolled. To be able to apply for the aid covered by this call, students must demonstrate, at a minimum, an average academic record grade of 7.5 points or higher in the university degree that has given them access to the University Master's studies. The average grade is calculated using the grading system from 0 to 10 established in Royal Decree 1125/2003, of September 5, which establishes the European credit system and the grading system for official university degrees valid throughout the national territory. In the particular case of students who have a Double Degree degree, only the average academic record grade of the Degree degree that gave access to the University Master's degree will be taken into account; If the two Double Degree qualifications give access to the University Master's Degree, the highest average grade will be taken into account. In no case will they be able to obtain the status of beneficiary
