Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural persons of legal age who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid: a) Be registered in a municipality of Menorca. b) Be considered a family unit because they are responsible as a parent, guardian or a permanent foster care link for children and young people who complete the year of the call between 3 and 17 years of age, both included, who participate in children's and youth educational leisure activities and extracurricular activities, and who live at the same address. c) Have obtained gross annual income during fiscal year 2024 that, together, does not exceed the thresholds established in the bases of the call. Second. Purpose The purpose of the call is to finance the participation of the minor population in a situation of economic vulnerability in children's and youth educational leisure activities during school holidays, as well as extracurricular activities that take place in the period from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on August 4, 2025. Fourth. Amount The maximum overall amount of the call is €400,000 (four hundred thousand euros), broken down as follows: Line 1. Children's and youth educational leisure activities during school holidays (€100,000) Line 2. Extracurricular activities (€300,000) Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period will begin on September 15, 2025 and will end on October 14, 2025. Sixth. Other information The maximum amounts that can be granted are: Line 1. €300 for each beneficiary minor who participates in one or more educational leisure activities during school holidays. Line 2. €300 for each minor who participates in one or more extracurricular activities.
