The full text of the call can be found on the website and notice board of the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona Primero. Beneficiaries: The call is open to individual individuals who present a Master's thesis defended in the last two academic years of the University of Barcelona. The topic must necessarily be related to maritime culture from the point of view of social sciences (history, biography, ethnology, sociology, economics, law, art history, archaeology, geography, etc.). Each researcher can present only one work. Second. Object. The Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona, through the Permanent Observatory of Maritime History and Culture of the Mediterranean, wants to promote research projects in the field of social sciences related to maritime history and culture, within the scope of Master's projects presented at the University of Barcelona. This promotion takes the form of a prize for the best work presented in this call. Third. Regulatory bases. The Bases of the call approved by Decree of the general management of the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona, and, subsidiarily, the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Barcelona, to which the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona is adhered to (Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona of May 9, 2017). Room. Amount. The prize is worth €3,000, with the possibility, if the jury considers that there is a second work that also deserves it, a second prize of €1,500 will be awarded (subject to the withholdings established by current legislation). The amount of the prize will be borne by budget application 333.48102 of the current Consortium expense budget. Fifth. Presentation of applications The application will include the work presented, a certificate from the director of the work, as it has been presented on the date shown and the qualification obtained by the University of Barcelona, and the identifying data of the participant in the Award. This documentation must be processed electronically and in PDF format. Sixth. Application submission deadline Participation in this call must be processed through the website, at the electronic headquarters of the General Registry of the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona, accessing procedures, according to the following link: https://www.seu-e.cat/ca/web/cdrassanesreialsimuseumaritim/tramits-i-gestions and completing the generic form, in which You must attach three documents in PDF: Document 1: The work presented Document 2: Certificate from the director of the work. Document 3: The identification data of the participant (full name of the author of the work, postal address, email and mobile phone), as well as a copy of their ID. The documentation to send (document 1, document 2 and document 3), in any case, may not exceed the limit of 50 MB. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of an extract of this call and bases in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) and is established as the maximum date for submitting applications until October 31, 2025 at 2 p.m. Important: To process the application at the Electronic Office it is essential to have an electronic certificate. Interested persons who have difficulties in submitting their applications electronically may, at most, two days before the end of the submission period, direct their queries to the General Registry of the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Marítim de Barcelona, informacio@mmb.cat, or by telephone, at 933 429 920, from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where the Registry staff will help them carry out this procedure. All this, without prejudice to the presentation in any other electronic record of the Catalan public administrations or the rest of the subjects referred to in article 2.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedures of public administrations.
