Each educational center must proceed, in the way it sees fit and within the framework of the school council, to specify which expenses the subsidy applies to. The concept of expenditure will have to be agreed upon between the school and the family, prioritizing the concepts of textbooks and school supplies ahead of those of outings, camps and extracurricular activities. Second.- Object The purpose of this call is to approve the granting of subsidies aimed at educational centers supported by public funds with the purpose of facilitating the development of their educational project in an extensive and universal way among all their students and for the benefit of the entire educational community, guaranteeing the right to access education. The purpose is to provide educational centers and family or pedagogical associations that manage the concepts that are the subject of this call, and that have especially vulnerable students registered in Granollers, with an economic tool designed to support the expenses of: - Textbooks: both for the direct purchase of textbooks and for the gestures derived from the book socialization program of the Department of Education or other programs of use and book banks. - School supplies: material fee approved by the School Council, reduction in computer expenses or purchase or rental of books, as well as licenses for books and digital programs, school clothing or other school and sports supplies. - School outings or camps proposed by the center itself. - Extracurricular activities (enrollment, fee or materials) organized by the school, by the AMPA or the pedagogical associations that manage these concepts. The subsidies requested must be intended to meet only the needs of highly vulnerable students registered in the municipality of Granollers on an individual basis (they cannot be requested or applied to the entire class group). The concepts covered by the subsidy must be enjoyed by the student during the 2025/2026 school year. The Granollers City Council Subsidy Plan 2024-2027 supports the fulfillment of the objectives of municipal action, among others in its Axis 2 "guaranteeing opportunities for all" and alleviating social inequalities. Third.- Regulatory Bases By agreement of the Local Government Board dated June 18, 2024, the Regulatory Bases were approved that must govern the granting of subsidies for equal educational opportunities, under a competitive competition regime, aimed at educational centers supported with public funds.
