Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Students enrolled at the UC during the 2025-2026 academic year, nationals of one of the countries participating in the Erasmus+ program (the 27 member states of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and the Republic of Macedonia). Nationals of other countries may also participate if they are in possession of a valid residence permit to reside in Spain during the period of mobility. Second. Object. The selection of students to participate in both the ERASMUS program and the bilateral agreements that the University of Cantabria has signed with universities in the United States, Latin America, Australia and Canada. Third. Regulatory bases. Call for places for the selection of undergraduate students for study purposes within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program and Bilateral Agreements for the 2026-2027 academic year. https://web.unican.es/unidades/oficina-relaciones-internacionales/estudiantes Fourth. Amount. The financial support for the aid that accompanies places abroad will be provided by the Erasmus program of the European Union through SEPIE, according to the distribution criteria established by the Ministry of Education of the Government of Cantabria, the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and the University of Cantabria itself. All of these grants are compatible with any other national aid, scholarship, loan or study subsidy, but not with others financed with funds from the European Union. Both the number and amount of scholarships awarded will depend on budgetary availability. The criterion used for said concessions will be academic unless a different criterion is specified. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The application will be completed electronically through the UC virtual campus, with a deadline of November 3 to 17, 2025, both inclusive. Sixth. Other data. - Other requirements: • It is essential to have approved 80% of the credits corresponding to the first course (48 credits). In the case of students with transfer of transcript, the requirement is to have passed 60 ECTS credits of their corresponding degree. • Documentally accredit the language level required at the destination university. • Respond to the profiles of each degree detailed in Annex I. • Not have previously participated in the same program requested in the call either through the University of Cantabria or other universities. - The period of study abroad must conform to the 2026-2027 academic year at the University of Cantabria and will have a minimum duration of three months and a maximum of one academic year. - The selection of students will be ratified by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategy at the proposal of the International Relations coordinators and the Internationalization Commission. - The selection criterion is the average grade of the academic record, applied once the language knowledge requirement has been met.
