The Presidency of the Municipal Board of Sports Activities of Castrillón, dated October 23, 2025, calling for subsidies to hold sports events and competitions

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. Sports entities, Federations or basic sports clubs that, in addition to complying with the requirements indicated in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law of Subsidies, are legally constituted in accordance with the provisions of Decree 24/1998, of June 11, which regulates the operation of sports clubs and autonomous groups of the Principality of Asturias, registered, except in the case of federations, in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Principality of Asturias, and of the City Council of Castrillón, with a minimum seniority of six months from the date of publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. In the case of other legal entities, be legally constituted as such and, where appropriate, registered in the corresponding registry, taking into account the nature of which they are try. In the case of natural persons, be over 18 years of age and have full capacity to act. Second.- Purpose of the subsidy. Regulate the granting of subsidies granted by the Municipal Board of Sports Activities of Castrillón, (hereinafter PMAD) in its area of competence under a competitive competition regime for the realization of SPORTS EVENTS in the municipality of Castrillón, as a starting point to set the strategic objectives in the development of sports programs of public interest, during the year 2025, that favor the promotion and dissemination of sport in the Municipality of Castrillon. Third.- Regulatory bases. General Ordinance of Subsidies Castrillón and its Autonomous Bodies and Dependent Entities published in the B.O.P.A. of February 20, 2006. Fourth.- Amount. The overall amount of the call amounts to thirty-five thousand euros (35,000.00 euros). Fifth.- Award criteria.1. The PMAD will attend to the granting of subsidies for SPORTS EVENTS and will apply the following evaluation criteria: 1.1 – Number of days or days of competition. 1.2 – Number of participants in the competition 1.3 – Participation of athletes of both sexes or percentage of female participation. Participation of both sexes1.4 – Categories participating in the event1.5 – Scope of the event1.6 – Technical assessment of the project1.7- Own financial means available to the applicant1.8 – Media impact. (Attach dossier) The projects presented by the different applicants must obtain at least 20 points to be eligible for evaluation. To obtain the economic valuation according to scoring sections, it will be determined by the rule of three, with the maximum points in each section corresponding to the maximum economic proposal. 2. The total amount to be awarded as a subsidy will be the result of the total amount of the assessment of the points obtained. If these operations result in amounts greater than the actual deficit of the activity to be subsidized, the finally proposed subsidy will be adjusted to the actual deficit, that is, the maximum amount per applicant may not in any case exceed the deficit of the activity, taking into account the expenses necessary for its organization and the income of any type generated by the planned activity. allocate said amount to balance the amount assigned to each of them. 3. The instructing body and the Municipal Subsidy Valuation Committee, in the study of the applications presented, will take as a reference in the economic aspect the capacity that each application can generate and the percentage that it represents in the project presented. 4. The determination of the individualized amount of each subsidy will be determined by the Municipal Subsidy Valuation Committee, following a proposal from the Delegate Department of Sports, with the credits being allocated to the corresponding budget item. 5. In the event that the credit allocated to these aids, by the corresponding call resolution, is not sufficient to grant the subsidies that correspond to all the applications evaluated based on the minimum score determined in the corresponding call, the projects that obtain the lowest score will be rejected, applying the evaluation criteria.
