Official description of the call
First. Beneficiary entities. The beneficiary entities will be considered associative entities of a cultural, festive and traditional nature, included within the Festivals, Heritage and Popular Culture Commission of the Culture Council, legally constituted and that have an open headquarters in Ontinyent and are registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations for at least 1 year before the date of publication of the call and with their data updated in 2025. Second. Object. The purpose of the call is the granting of subsidies for the financial year 2025, on a competitive basis, to associative entities of the municipality of Ontinyent of a cultural, festive and traditional nature of the municipality of Ontinyent, in order to collaborate economically in the financing of their own activities and in the maintenance by these associations of local traditions, introducing the balanced participation of women and men in their usual activity. Third. Regulatory bases. The Ordinance regulating the bases that must govern the granting of subsidies to associative entities of a cultural, festive and traditional nature in the municipality of Ontinyent was approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council in an extraordinary session on May 2, 2024, and published in full in BOPV No. 155 of August 12, 2024. Fourth. Financing. The granting of the subsidies provided for in this call will be financed from budget application no. 51500 33804 48000 of the 2025 municipal budget, which is endowed with an amount of €20,000.00 (RC no. 12025000033552 of 10/23/2025). Fifth. Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP of the province of Valencia.
