Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Beneficiaries. Students enrolled in non-university post-compulsory education in public centers in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, whose application is selected by the Ministry of Education, Science and Vocational Training, will be considered beneficiaries. Second. Object. The call is made for the 2025/2026 academic year for aid intended to defray the expenses derived from daily and weekend transportation for students taking non-university post-compulsory education. - Line B (Weekend transportation): Aid to cover the expenses derived from the transportation of students on weekends, from their family home to the town where the public residence for post-compulsory education is located, or, where appropriate, private residence, of students enrolled in non-university post-compulsory education in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. - Line C (Daily Transport): Aid to subsidize the expenses derived from the use of daily transport due to the distance between the student's family home and the locality in which the educational center in which they are enrolled is located, or, where appropriate, the work center in which they carry out the internships of the corresponding training cycle, when it is not possible to occupy a free place on the transport routes contracted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Vocational Training. Third. Regulatory bases. Decree 62/2016, of May 10, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies intended to aid students in non-university post-compulsory education, enrolled in public centers in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura (DOE no. 92, of May 16). Room. Amount of aid. For the purpose of this call, the maximum amount of two hundred thousand euros (€200,000.00) will be allocated, with the following breakdown: - For Line B (Weekend Transport): The total amount of one hundred thousand euros (€100,000.00) will be allocated, charged to Budgetary Position G/222G/48000, Management Center 130090000, Funds CAG0000001, Financing program 20060136 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for 2026. -For Line C (Daily Transport): The total amount of one hundred thousand euros (€100,000.00) will be allocated, charged to Budgetary Position G/222G/48000, Management Center 130090000, Funds CAG0000001, Financing program 20060136 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for 2026. Fifth. Criteria for determining the amount for each help line. - On Line B (WEEKEND TRANSPORT), the amounts will be established based on the distance between the urban center of the town where the family home is located and the locality where the public residence for post-compulsory education is located, in which the student is assigned a place or, where appropriate, the private residence referred to in the previous section. The aid will be determined based on the following sections: - Up to 24 km: 100 euros per student/course. - From 25 to 50 km: 235 euros student/course. - From 51 to 100 km: 265 euros student/course. - From 101 to 150 km: 300 euros student/course. - From 151 to 200 km: 335 euros student/course. - More than 200 km: 400 euros student/course. - On Line C (DAILY TRANSPORT), the amounts will be established based on the distance between the urban area of ​​the population where the family home is located and the urban area of ​​the town in which the school in which the student is enrolled is located, or, where applicable, the work center in which the corresponding training cycle is carried out. The aid will be determined based on the following sections: - Less than 50 km per week: €100.00 student/course. - From 50 km to 100 km per week: €192.00 student/course. - From 101 km to 300 km per week: €386.00 student/course. - From 301 km to 500 km per week: €763.00 student/course. - More than 500 km per week: €900.00 student/course.
