Particular regulatory bases of the Call for Study Scholarships for Musical Education for the 2024/2025 Course

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries The municipal aid for musical education, for students of the Professional/Elementary Grade Conservatory and the Municipal Music School for the 2024-2025 academic year, is intended for people enrolled in the Professional/Elementary Grade Conservatory and the Music School of this municipal category, belonging to family units with weighted annual gross income as described in section 5.-Determination and income weighting, and that do not exceed 3 times the IPREM 2024 (€25,200 per year in 14 payments). REQUIREMENTS OF THE APPLICANTS: 1. Be enrolled or have children enrolled in the Professional/Elementary Grade Conservatory and/or in the Municipal Music School. 2. Be registered in Tui, both the applicant and, in the case of minors, the father/mother or legal guardian if they had them, as well as the children for whom the scholarship is requested, prior to the date of publication of these bases, and during the entire subsidized course. 3. That the family does not exceed the stipulated gross income. 4. Not be a beneficiary of other public or private entities or organizations of aid for this concept; and not exceed the established aid limit. 5. Have the complete course approved (referring to the academic period prior to the eligible one), except for those who begin studies in this academic period, students must be enrolled in all subjects corresponding to the first year. 6. Communicate the request or obtaining of aid subsidies for the same purpose, coming from any administration or public, or private, national and/or international entity. - If any of these requirements are not met, the file will be archived without further processing. Second.- Object 1. Facilitate access to musical education for those families or people with limited resources. 2. That students belonging to families with a low income level have access to scholarships. 3. Follow up on those families that are detected as high risk. 4. Enable access to musical lessons for those people who are in a vulnerable situation, established in the applicable regulations and documented with a report from the community social services technician of the Tui City Council. 5. Analysis of the demanding population and assessment of their needs. Third.- Regulatory bases. The full text of these rules will be available on the City Council's Notice Board, as well as on its website (www.tui.gal) and on the main Board of the Municipal School of Music for a period of two months from the date of approval of this call, an extract thereof being sent to the BOPPO. Fourth.- Amount. These scholarships are compatible with others that may be received, however, the total of the aid received may in no case exceed 100% of the cost of the activity that the beneficiary is going to develop, without the municipal aid being able to exceed the percentage of 65% of said amount (tuition cost), except in the cases indicated in article 8 of the General Type Regulatory Bases for the Granting of Subsidies. The maximum percentages are specified below according to the scale of points obtained: SCALE OF POINTS MAXIMUM PERCENTAGE OF AID 25/15 inclusive 65% 14/10 inclusive 55% 9/5 inclusive 45% 4/1 inclusive 35% Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days, counting from the day following the publication of this call on the board of the electronic headquarters of the Tui city council, (https://concellotui.sedeelectronica.gal/)
