1. Purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the “auzo-taxi” program and the granting of subsidies for the use of taxis within the municipality by people residing in rural neighborhoods that do not have regular public transport service and which are the following: - BEASAINMENDI - ARRIARAN - GARIN - ASTIGARRETA - MATXINBENTA - ALTAMIRA - SALBATORE -GUDUGARRETA For the purposes of these rules, the Etxeberri hamlet of Garin, will be considered Astigarreta. Under no circumstances may the “auzo-taxi” service be used for school transportation. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Individuals who, at the time of submitting the application, meet the conditions detailed below may apply and be beneficiaries: a) Be registered in Beasain, in one of the neighborhoods indicated in Base 1. b) Be over 12 years old (those between 12 and 18 years old must have the authorization of their parents or guardians). c) Not be subject to any of the impeding circumstances contemplated in article 13 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies. d) Be up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations and have no debts with the Beasain City Council. 3.
