CITY COUNCIL AND LOCAL ENTITIES INTENDED FOR THE EXECUTION OF EMERGENCY ACTIONS IN THE HYDRAULIC CYCLE

Official description of the call

First.-Beneficiaries: Municipalities or associations with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants and smaller local entities in the province of Palencia. Second.-Object. Granting of subsidies to municipalities, associations and smaller local entities, for the improvement of water supply systems for the population in Palencia localities, through the execution of small works and repairs therein. Third.-Eligible actions. The actions to be subsidized must refer to the works, such as: Improvement of the main catchments and existing manholes. Repair and/or renewal of adductions. Repair works in tanks: such as waterproofing, structural reforms, fencing, sampling tap, etc. Automation of equipment and installation of remote management solutions. Improvements in purification systems. Renewal and/or repair of pumping equipment, provided that they imply an improvement in energy efficiency and have not been financed with aid from this Provincial Council in the last five years. In general, any emergency work that affects basic elements of high supply, and that is necessary to guarantee the supply of water to the population. Those works or investments that have been executed after the end date of the application submission period for the 2025 call (March 31, 2025) will be considered eligible for subsidies. The following will not be the subject of this call: The execution of complete works that require planning. Works that involve an extension of the water supply service to new housing constructions. New acquisitions and surveys. Realization of connections and installation of home meters. Cleaning, operation and/or maintenance of supply facilities in general. Renovation and/or repairs of internal water distribution networks. Repairs of leaks in internal distribution networks, or any element that is part of them. Personnel expenses in works carried out by Administration personnel will not be eligible for subsidies. Fourth.-Amount. Total allocated credit of €350,000.00. In no case will the amount granted be greater than 80% of the budget approved and executed according to the budget or technical report. Fifth.-Deadline for submitting applications. Applications will be submitted within a period of two months, counting from the month following the publication of this announcement in the BOP. Sixth.-The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia https://sede.diputaciondepalencia.es
