Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries All persons of legal age, who have not obtained it in the five years prior to this one, and who present works not awarded in any other competition or competition, may apply for the prize. Second. Object In the line of support for the artistic creation carried out by the Provincial Council of A Coruña and, specifically, the development of graphic art, as well as, in recognition of the work carried out by the “Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea” Foundation of Betanzos and the extensive career of the artist Jesús Núñez, its founder, the Provincial Council of A Coruña announces the “Jesús Núñez” International Prize for graphic art for the year 2026. Third. Regulatory bases This call will be governed by the Regulatory Bases published in BOP number 233 of December 4, 2025 available at: https://bop.dacoruna.gal/bopportal/publicado/2025/12/04/2025_0000008109.pdf Fourth. Amount The amount of the allocation amounts to a total of €6,500.00, charged to item 0612/3342/481 of the ordinary Budget for 2025. The following prizes are established: * First prize worth €6,500 and an exhibition at the CIEC Foundation. * Two second prizes, each consisting of a registration fee for a module of the Master of Graphic Works taught by the CIEC Foundation. The prizes may be void or, in the case of the first prize, be awarded ex aequo; In this case, the amount will be distributed proportionally among the people who are awarded. Fifth. Application submission period The application period will begin on February 10, 2025, and will end on April 10, 2025. Sixth. Other information The jury may make a selection (which will be a maximum of 30 works), among the non-awarded works, for inclusion in an exhibition, which will be inaugurated at the CIEC Foundation and which will subsequently travel to municipalities in the province.
