Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries All people of legal age, interested in the field of photography, who were not awarded this prize in a previous edition and who present works not awarded in any other prize or competition, may participate. Second. Object Taking into account the special significance that our province has long held in the dissemination of the arts of the image and especially photography, and with the aim of contributing to the conservation of the memory of such representative figures in this field as Luis Ksado, the Provincial Council of A Coruña announces the "Luis Ksado" International Award for photographic creation of the year 2026. Third. Regulatory bases This call will be governed by the Regulatory Bases published in BOP number 233 of December 4, 2025 available at: https://bop.dacoruna.gal/bopportal/publicado/2025/12/04/2025_0000008110.pdf Fourth. Amount The amount of the allocation amounts to a total of €6,500.00, charged to item 0612/3341/481 of the Ordinary Budget for 2026. A single prize of €6,500 is established, which may remain void and be awarded ex aequo. In this case, the amount will be distributed proportionally among the people who are awarded. Fifth. Application submission period The application period will begin on February 10, 2026, and will end on May 29, 2026. Sixth. Other information The works will be presented under the escrow system and will be sent to the Provincial Council of A Coruña, Avda. Porto da Coruña 2, 15003 A Coruña, indicating on the envelope the "Luís Ksado" Award for Photographic Creation.
