Official description of the call
Extract from the call: Beneficiaries: These will be those companies and professionals in the designer fashion sector of Gran Canaria, who meet the following requirements: 1. Have a brand of finished textile/clothing product, registered and/or requested registration in the name of the beneficiary (on the date of publication of the call), falling within the designer fashion sector defined in article 1 of this document. 2. Have a tax domicile, economic or professional activity and workplace in Gran Canaria. 3. Be registered with the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) in any of the activities related to the designer fashion sector and/or fit into any of the Sections of the CNAE 2009 according to the relationship established for each of the help lines. 4. Self-employed workers must be registered in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA). Legal entities must be registered in the General Social Security Regime or, if they do not have workers, their partner/administrator must be registered with the RETA. 5. Be up to date with your obligations with the State Treasury, the Regional Treasury and Social Security. If the applicant has debts with any of these organizations, it will be understood that they are up to date when the deferral/partitioning of said debts is granted by the corresponding organization. 6. Not having exceeded the maximum de minimis aid threshold established in Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, of December 13, 2023. (…) 4.2.- SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS BY LINE OF ACTION. In addition to complying with point 4.1, the beneficiaries, as of the date of publication of the extract of this call, must meet the following specific requirements depending on the Line of action requested: 4.2.1.- Line 1 of action. “Support for entrepreneurship, creation of companies and new brands”: a) Have started their business activity (registered as a company or self-employed) in the years 2023, 2024 or 2025. 4.2.2.- Line 2 of action. “Support for business consolidation and projection”: a) Have a minimum of three consecutive years of business activity (registered as a company or self-employed). b) Have the brand you sell in the registry of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, equal to or greater than three years. c) Have presented and marketed a collection at least in the last two years. 4.2.3.- Line 3 of action. “Support for reindustrialization, reform, conditioning and provision of inventory material for textile workshops and/or own points of sale”: a) Have a minimum of one year of business activity (registration as a company or self-employed). b) The trademark has been registered with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office for an age equal to or greater than one year. 4.3.- Businesses, importers and/or distributors, as well as companies that mostly dedicate their design and production activities to the fields of cosmetics and beauty, jewelry, costume jewellery, childcare, optics or other accessories outside of regular clothing, may not be beneficiaries of the subsidy. Purpose: Author's Fashion is defined for the purposes of this call as fashion that has an aesthetic vision established by a creative director under a trademark registered by a company and that produces collections for marketing, based on traditional knowledge and contemporary technology. So, according to this definition, companies and/or designers in the author fashion sector are considered to be those that have the presence of an author designer, with a distinctive brand, with continuous production and sale of collections, as well as with a special emphasis on the quality of materials and construction. The objectives pursued are to highlight the creations of designers and companies in the island's designer fashion sector, highlighting their commitment to responsible consumption, local production and artisanal work, by supporting the creation of new companies, the consolidation and improvement of existing ones, digitalization, electronic commerce and digital marketing, search for new markets and distribution channels, recovery of the productive fabric and the relocation of the textile industry with the reform and modernization of fashion manufacturing workshops on the island.
