Official description of the call

Extract from the Decree of the President of the Most Excellent Provincial Council of Valencia, no. 15983, of December 18, 2025 on the call for subsidies to non-profit entities and associations for the implementation of projects and initiatives related to the promotion and dissemination of the Valencian Historical and Democratic Memory 2026. BDNS (Identif.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/index): Object, conditions and purpose of the granting of the subsidy.- This call aims to subsidize projects and initiatives related to the promotion and dissemination of the Valencian Historical and Democratic Memory in the province of Valencia during the year 2026 by Associations or non-profit entities of the province or of a larger area with headquarters or permanent delegation in the province of Valencia. Regulatory bases.- This call is governed by the provisions of the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valencia, approved by plenary agreement in a session of March 28, 2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, number 107, of June 5, 2023, and whose last modification was approved by plenary agreement on December 4, 2024, and its entry into force published in the BOP no. 45, of March 6, 2025. Budget credits to which the subsidy is attributed and maximum total amount.- 641334.11 480.00 will be financed by the application, with a maximum estimated amount of 150,000 euros, charged to the expenses budget of the Provincial Council for the year 2026. All of this is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the expenses budget. 2026. Eligible activities.- Eligible activities are: a) Projects and actions to commemorate or honor people and events related to Valencian historical and democratic memory. b) Projects and actions that promote the dissemination and training in matters of Valencian historical and democratic memory. This may include, among others, the organization of conferences, symposiums, conferences, seminars and temporary exhibitions, audiovisual products, publications, educational and artistic projects. c) The compilation, conservation, study and dissemination of written, oral, audiovisual (photographs, posters, sound recordings, films...) or intellectual (artistic, musical, literary manifestations...) documentary heritage, including projects aimed at cataloguing, inventorying and digitizing documentary collections from the Civil War and/or the Dictatorship. - Works or works that affect buildings and vestiges related to the recovery of the historical memory of the period that is the subject of this resolution will not be eligible for subsidies. - The activities that are subsidized may be carried out from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, without waiting for the granting of the subsidies to occur and without prejudging the decision that is finally adopted. The subsidized activities must be carried out in the territory of the province of Valencia. Beneficiaries.- Non-profit entities and associations of the province of Valencia, legally constituted and registered, on the date of publication of the corresponding call, in the corresponding administrative registry based on their legal nature, which have among their purposes the Valencian democratic memory. Likewise, larger entities that have headquarters or permanent delegation in the province of Valencia will be beneficiaries. Entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in art. 13 of the General Law of Subsidies, or those that are indebted to the Provincial Council of Valencia or its dependent entities in the terms expressed in the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Valencia. Compatibility.- This subsidy is compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose from any other administration or public or private entity.
