Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First: Beneficiaries. Non-profit associations, clubs and sports entities in the province of Zaragoza, with their own legal personality, registered in the corresponding Public Registry, and whose registered office corresponds to municipalities that have a population of less than 50,000 inhabitants, according to the data of the last updated registry and that have the corresponding certificate of representative of a legal entity issued by the National Mint and Stamp Factory, may be beneficiaries of this aid. Applicants must meet the following requirements: ? Be legally constituted in accordance with Law 16/2018, of December 4, on physical activity and sport in Aragon, and registered in the General Registry of Sports Entities of the General Council of Aragon. They will prove it with the presentation of the Statutes drawn up in accordance with Law 16/2018 and sealed by the General Registry of Sports Entities of the General Council of Aragon. ? Have its registered office in a municipality in the province of Zaragoza and this has a population of less than 50,000 inhabitants, according to the data from the last updated registry. ? Not be considered a professional club or sports corporation. ? Not fall into the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 and 13.3 of the LGS and prove compliance with article 9 b) of Legislative Decree 2/2023, of May 3, consolidated text of the Aragon Subsidies Law. Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and have no pending reimbursement payment obligations with the Provincial Council of Zaragoza. Second: Purpose. The purpose of the subsidy, which is announced on a competitive basis, will be to help non-profit associations, clubs and sports entities, registered in the registry of sports entities of the Government of Aragon (in accordance with Law 16/2018, of December 4, on physical activity and sport in Aragon), whose registered office is located in Zaragoza municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants, in the development of their sports activities. This aid will be compatible with any other public aid that could be obtained for the same purpose, as long as the total public and private subsidies and aid obtained does not exceed the cost of the subsidized activities. INCOMPATIBILITIES: These aids will be incompatible with annual aids of a direct nature, or registered nominatively in the budget of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza in the financial year 2026, which will be incompatible with this subsidy for the same expenditure and purpose. Likewise, this aid will be incompatible with the Call for Subsidies for Aragonese sports entities in the province of Zaragoza that participate in official national competitions, year 2026, for the same expenditure and purpose. It is understood that the same entity can participate in two calls as long as the expenses correspond to teams from different categories. The sports activities subject to subsidy in this call are all those activities that contribute to the sports development of the municipality by promoting, stimulating and favoring the citizen initiative whose execution takes place between October 19, 2024 and October 17, 2025. Third: Regulatory Bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza (BOPZ No. 99 dated May 4, 2016). Fourth: Amount. The credit for this call will be that provided for in the 2026 budget year, which amounts to 640,000 euros, and will be made from budget application 32200.34100.4890100 (RC operation number 220259001638). This amount can be increased by a maximum of 50,000 additional euros without the need for a new call, in accordance with the provisions of article 58 of the Subsidies Law Regulation (approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21).
