Official description of the call
First.-Object of the contest: The purpose of this contest is to promote artistic creation and disseminate the activities framed in the 8M campaign – International Day for Women's Rights and SororiArt 2026. Through this collaboration it is intended to select 2 posters related to each other: one as the image of the general 8M campaign and the other as the image of the SororiArt festival. The SororiArt illustration aims to reflect a festive event that includes a wide range of artistic activities, such as concerts, dance shows, theatrical activities and workshops. Second.-Participants: Students from the Instituto Alexandre Satorras and Escuelas Pías Santa Anna de Mataró educational centers who are currently studying the artistic baccalaureate and from the GEM School who are studying the intermediate level training cycle of assistance to the interactive graphic product. In the event that the students are minors who are not legally emancipated, the authorization document signed by the mother, father or legal guardian must be presented to be able to participate in the contest and, if they are the winner, authorize the transfer of the minor's copyright to the Mataró City Council. Third.-Format, content and place of presentation: Each student will have to present 2 poster designs: 1. Generic 8M campaign poster: This poster does not have to include any text, only the illustration or image. 2. Specific SororiArt poster: This poster can bear the title “SororiArt”. The size of the image of each poster will be: a jpg file measuring 30 x 30 cm (also applicable to paper illustrations) and at 350 dpi (pixels/inch) and RGB. Fourth.- Method of delivery: – Municipal staff will register the applications for participation in this contest in the facilities of the indicated educational centers. Specifically, the following must be submitted: • Application for participation that will have been provided by the City Council itself. In the case of non-emancipated minors, the application will include the authorization signed by the mother, father or legal guardian. • Copy of the applicant's identity document. In the case of non-emancipated minors, a copy of the identity document of the mother, father or legal guardian and documentation that proves parental authority (such as a family book). • Posters: • If presented in digital format, jpg file with the instructions described in the previous point. The name of the file must be a part of the student's DNI/NIE/Passport number and name of the educational center (see example of the student's DNI/NIE/Passport number and name of the educational center (see example below) • Examples of file names and names to indicate on closed envelopes below) • If presented in paper format, closed envelope with the posters. It will be notified by email in all participating educational centers and will be published on the municipal website. Sixth.- Jury: The jury is made up of: • Technical specialist in communication and design: Regina Bonamusa Madern • Youth informant from the Joven del Maresme office and member of the Soro-riArt commission from the Seventh.- Assessment criteria: Fidelity and clarity to the proposed theme. Up to 40 points The originality of the image. Up to 30 Points The visual impact of the works presented. Up to 30 Points The scoring of each criterion will be made applying the following scales: • 100% of the points EXCELLENT PROPOSAL. • 75% of the points VERY APPROPRIATE PROPOSAL. • 50% of the points APPROPRIATE PROPOSAL. • 25% of the points POORLY ADEQUATE. • 0 points NOT VALUABLE DUE TO INCORRECT, INCONCRETE OR POORLY DEFINED PROPOSAL.
