NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST FOR HOLY WEEK OF CARRIÓN DE LOS CONDES 2026

Official description of the call

1.- PURPOSE The Carrión de los Condes City Council, through the Department of Culture, calls for the second edition of the National Photography Contest “Holy Week Carrión de los Condes 2026” in recognition of its recent declaration as a Festival of Tourist Interest in Castilla y León. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the operation and participation in said event, whose purpose is to capture and disseminate the essence, uniqueness, solemnity, devotion and beauty of our processions and traditions; In short, the cultural richness of Carrión's Holy Week, promoting citizen participation, cultural interest and tourism promotion of Carrión de los Condes at a national level. 2.- REGULATORY BASES. This contest will be governed by the provisions of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the municipal Ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies of the Carrión de los Condes City Council, as well as the Bases of Execution of the Budget for the current year. 3.- PARTICIPANTS In this national Contest, all natural persons who wish to participate, professionals or amateurs, individually and in their own name, may participate. Minors must have the authorization of their father, mother or guardian, who must also sign the registration application submitted. Members of the Jury and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity and/or affinity are expressly excluded. 4.- BUDGET CREDIT. The amount of the prizes, which amounts to a total of Six hundred euros in cash (€600.00), will be awarded from budget item 2026/330/226.09.01 of the municipal budget in force. 5.- PRIZES The following prizes are established: First prize, endowed with €300.00 and a diploma. Second prize, worth €200.00 and diploma. Third prize, worth €100.00 and diploma. No author may obtain more than one award. 6.- DEADLINE AND PLACE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The period for submitting works will be open from April 6 to 30, 2026, both inclusive, and may be submitted using the Annex I model attached to these bases: - Electronically: through the electronic form “General Instance” of the procedure enabled at the electronic headquarters (https://carriondeloscondes.sedelectronica.es). - In person: at the town hall registry office located in Plaza Mayor nº1, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The standardized registration model that is attached at the end of these bases (Annex I) and that will be available for download on the website www.carriondeloscondes.org and on the electronic headquarters https://carriondeloscondes.sedelectronica.es, will be accompanied by the corresponding photographs in digital format and a photocopy of both sides of the DNI (if the person presenting is a minor, the DNI of the father, mother or guardian will also be added).
