Call for subsidies to leisure entities that carry out summer camps in Sabadell for boys and girls from 3 to 16 years old, year 2026, and additional subsidies for summer camps in which boys and girls with special educational needs participate.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Leisure entities that promote the activities for which a subsidy is requested may be beneficiaries of the subsidies, and that meet the following requirements: a) Be private, non-profit entities. b) Entities must be duly registered in the corresponding registry according to the regulations that apply to them. c) Entities must be registered in the Municipal Registry of Entities, in the case of entities domiciled in Sabadell. If the entity is in the registration process, it can submit the application stating this circumstance, but it will not be able to be a beneficiary of the subsidy if it does not prove final registration before the resolution of the corresponding call. d) The entities must have a minimum degree of stable structure or organization in the city. e) The entities must have a civil liability policy and must maintain its validity throughout the period in which the summer camp is held. To be beneficiaries of the complementary subsidy aimed at schools in which children with special needs participate, referred to in article 15 of the specific regulatory bases, you must previously be a beneficiary of the ordinary subsidy referred to in the previous paragraph. Second. Purpose The purpose of the subsidies is to promote and support the values ​​of leisure education, which are considered an element for the revitalization of free time and social cohesion, while contributing to the reconciliation of personal and family life. Third. Regulatory bases General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Plenary Session of the Sabadell City Council on December 23, 2008 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (hereinafter, BOPB) number 10 of January 12, 2009. Specific regulatory bases of the various types of subsidies granted by the Department of Education of the Sabadell City Council, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in a session of February 28 2019. By Decree number 4374/2019, of April 25, the consolidation of the regulatory bases with their modifications into a single text has been approved, which have been published in the BOPB dated May 16, 2019. Amount The financial allocation planned for the subsidies is 52,350.00 euros, which will be distributed as follows: 19,350.00 euros for the subsidies whose purpose is the organization and implementation of the activities of the summer camps and 33,000.00 euros for the complementary subsidies for the summer camps in which boys and girls with special educational needs participate. An additional amount of a maximum of €100,000.00 is also foreseen, of which €41,000.00 will be allocated for subsidies for summer camps and €59,000.00 for complementary subsidies for children with SEN. Fifth. Application submission deadline The deadline for submitting subsidy applications for the organization of summer camps and for the presentation of complementary documentation for subsidies aimed at camps involving boys and girls with special educational needs will be from February 23 to March 13, 2026, both included. Sixth. Other information For the processing of applications, it will be mandatory to provide the documentation detailed in article 6 of the specific bases mentioned above. In the case of the subsidy application for schools in which boys and girls with specific educational needs participate, the documentation required in article 15 of the specific regulatory bases must also be submitted.
