Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries. City councils of the province of Palencia with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, for themselves or their smaller local entities. In no case may minor local entities be beneficiaries. The Town Councils included in the Comprehensive Action Plan of the functional area of Vega Valdavia may not be beneficiaries of this call, only with regard to the technological equipment specified in section 2 of the Fifth Base (audiovisual equipment, telecommunications, internet access, etc.), although they may be beneficiaries of the rest of the equipment listed in the aforementioned base. Second.- Object. The object of the call is the granting of aid to City Councils of the province to finance equipment in municipal sociocultural centers and for the elderly, during the year 2026. Third.- Eligible actions. Financing the equipment of premises and offices where municipal socio-cultural and senior centers are located, intended for carrying out leisure, cultural and participation activities of said groups or other sectors of the municipality's population, which are carried out in the period between January 1, 2026 and the end date of the justification period. In no case will the equipment of municipal libraries be eligible for subsidies. Fourth.- Amount. The total amount of the subsidies amounts to 70,000 euros. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty calendar days, counting from the day following the day on which the extract of the call takes place in the OFFICIAL BULLETIN OF THE PROVINCE. If the last day of the period is a non-business day (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays), it will be deemed extended to the first following business day. Sixth.- Annexes and documentation – The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia (https://sedeelectronica.dip-palencia.es/siac/Procedimientos.aspx).
