Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): First. Beneficiaries The children's Fallas commissions integrated into the Central Fallera Board, which have the legal capacity for said task, may compete for these awards. In order to participate, applicants must be up to date with their tax and social security obligations at the end of the application period. Second. Object The “La Ciència a les Falles” award aims to recognize the best scenes or ninots of children's falls that contribute to disseminating among society the importance of scientific research for our present and future. They may represent everything from researchers to scenes of R&D laboratories, advances and scientific or scientific dissemination projects with a preferably Valencian seal, although not exclusively. and any other proposal that contributes to bringing science and its protagonists closer to the general public. The award is part of the UPV's annual scientific communication and dissemination program and has the support of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Amount The prizes may be awarded, in a maximum of three, to the ninots/scenes that best reflect “La Ciència a les Falles” and will consist of: 1st prize: Banner and financial award of €800 2nd. Prize: Banner and financial prize of €500 3rd. Prize: Banner and financial prize of €300 The prizes include the delivery of the winning ninot (or a replica) to the University for deposit in a Museum created for this purpose within its own facilities. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana and ends on March 14, 2026.
