The following persons may be beneficiaries of this aid: a) Personnel belonging to the UVa1 staff, in active service. b) Personnel belonging to the staff of public research organizations that maintain an agreement of stable and current collaboration with the UVa through a joint center or Health Research Institute. Said personnel must be active and assigned to UVa facilities.c) Postdoctoral research personnel hired at UVa for any excellence program or call that allows mobility.2. Applicants must fall into one of the following modalities: a) Young doctors: They must have a doctorate degree with a maximum seniority of 6 years, as of the end date of the application submission period. To calculate these six years, in accordance with the UVa Equality Plan, the time in which the candidate has remained in the situations contemplated in article 56 of Organic Law 3/2007, of March 22, for the effective equality of women and men, will be taken into account. Second.- Object/Purpose The object of this resolution is to approve the call, corresponding to the year 2026, of travel grants for interventions in scientific conferences of the University of Valladolid (hereinafter UVa) under a competitive competition regime and applying the principles of publicity and objectivity. Third.- Regulatory bases Regulatory bases of the research grants of the Universidade Vallaodlid, approved by the Governing Council in a session of March 24, 2023, BOCyL no. 66 of April 5 and modified by the Permanent Commission in a session of February 18, 2025, BOCyL no. 42 of March 3. Fourth.- Amount For aid for Travel Grants, an amount of €50,000 will initially be allocated from budget application 180113 463A.2.02 480.07 of the UVa budget for 2026. In the event that the available budget is not exhausted, this will be added to the rest of the aid for Mobility of Research Personnel. This call is conditional on the existence of adequate budgetary credit at the time of the resolution.2. This amount is complemented with up to €9,000 for participation in equality-themed conferences that take place before August 15, 2026, charged to application 18 IKCB. If the available budget is not exhausted, the unspent amount may be applied to the call for grants to attend courses, conferences and workshops relevant to the development of doctoral theses. Fifth.- Deadline for submission of applications 1. The call will be published in the National Subsidies Database. Likewise, it will be published on the electronic notice board of the University of Valladolid: https://sede.uva.es (Official Board/Investigation) and on the UVaInvestiga.2 website. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days. In accordance with the provisions of article 31.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, said period will begin at 00:00 on February 19, 2026, and will end at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the period (local time in both cases). Regarding the calculation of deadlines, what is established in article 31.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, will be followed.
