Official description of the call
First. Object. The Moixent City Council, with the aim of stimulating the habit and taste of reading and writing and promoting the social use of Valencian, has the purpose of convening, with competitive participation, the III Literary Prize for Brief Narrative “April 25 of Moixent” 2026, organized by the Department of Library and Linguistic Normalization. Second. Requirements of participants. All people who meet the age requirement established to participate in each of the categories may participate in this call, starting at six years of age for minors and any adult. Third. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province and until March 31, 2026. Work submitted before or outside of this deadline will not be admitted. Room. Prizes The Department of Library and Linguistic Normalization will award the following prizes for each category: • Category 1: 1st PRIZE €40 / 2nd PRIZE €25. • Category 2: 1st PRIZE €40 / 2nd PRIZE €25. • Category 3: 1st PRIZE €40 / 2nd PRIZE €25 €.• Category 4: 1st PRIZE €100 / 2nd PRIZE €50.• Category 5: 1st PRIZE €150 / 2nd PRIZE €75.• Category 6: 1st PRIZE €200 / 2nd PRIZE €100. The Department of Library and Linguistic Normalization may declare any prize void if the jury's assessment deems it appropriate. All prizes will consist of a financial allocation corresponding to the category and prize obtained, which will be paid through a voucher in local Moixent businesses. The awards will be presented in a public event that will take place on the date and time established by the Department of Library and Linguistic Normalization. The authors of the award-winning works will have to attend personally to collect the prize or, if unable to do so, delegate it to someone, after notifying the competent body for instruction. A record will be drawn up at the delivery of each of the prizes to justify the receipt of the exchangeable gift voucher corresponding to the prize awarded. Fifth. Award criteria For the objective evaluation of the works presented and the award of the prizes to be awarded, the jury members will comply with the criteria and descriptors established in the regulatory bases of the call (Annex 2), the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. Sixth. Deadline and form of justification Deadline: In the absence of express regulation, subsidies will have to be justified within the year in which they were granted. Form: The company/business where the winner has exchanged the voucher will have to request payment by presenting a copy of the corresponding voucher along with the invoice that will be in the name of the winner and that will refer to the “III Literary Award for Brief Narrative in Valencian “25 d'abril de Moixent”. This will be done before the General Registry of the City Council, Plaza Mayor, 1, CP 46640, during public service hours, or in the manner determined in the article. 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
