Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Associations of merchants and professionals existing in the City of Ames, legally constituted, and registered in the municipal registry of associations, will be eligible for these subsidies, as long as the registration data is duly updated at the time of requesting the subsidy. Specific requirements of the call The associations of businessmen and merchants of the Ames City Council that meet the following specific requirements may be beneficiaries of the subsidies subject to this call: 1. Be legally constituted 2. Carry out commercial activities in the Ames City Council. 3. Be registered in the municipal registry of associations at the time of submitting the application. It will be an essential requirement that the association's registration data be duly updated at the time of requesting the subsidy. Second. Purpose: This call aims to establish the criteria and procedures for the granting of subsidies, intended to promote activities of the merchant and professional associations of the Ames City Council, which are carried out in the period from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026. Third. Regulatory bases: Agreement of the Local Government Board of February 26, 2026 by which subsidies are called for the promotion of commerce in the Ames City Council in fiscal year 2026. Fourth. Amount: The amount of the appropriation amounts to a total of €40,000.00, charged to budget application 4314.47904 of the 2026 city budget, distributed as follows: 1. Commercial Promotion: Maximum budget of €33,000 2. Infrastructure and equipment: Maximum budget of €7,000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be 30 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña. If it ends on a non-business day, this period will be understood to be extended until the next business day.
