1. Purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of these bases is to contribute to the payment, in part, of the registration fee for the theoretical exam carried out in Basque to obtain the permit for applicants who have passed it and pass it in the period indicated above. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy To be a beneficiary of this subsidy, the applicants must be registered in the municipality of Beasain and have passed the theoretical exam for the driving license in Basque in the period between January 1 and December 11, 2026. REQUIREMENTS TO BE MET Applicants for the aid must meet the following requirements. Be registered in Beasain at least two months before enrolling in the course to obtain a driving license and continue to be registered until the subsidy application is resolved. Pass the theoretical exam in Basque between January 1 and December 11, 2026. Have registered at one of the driving schools with headquarters in Beasain. The following may not be beneficiaries of these subsidies: People who meet any of the circumstances provided for in art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of December 17, General Subsidies (BOE of December 18, 2003). Individuals who are involved in collection procedures by way of enforcement for debts contracted with the Beasain City Council, nor those people who are not up to date with their tax obligations with the City Council until said debts are effectively satisfied and settled or fulfilled, unless they are deferred, divided or whose execution is suspended. Those who have been penalized or administratively sanctioned, with the loss of the possibility of obtaining subsidies or public aid, or are subject to any legal prohibition that disqualifies them from doing so, including those that have occurred for incurring discrimination on the basis of sex, by virtue of Legislative Decree 1/2023, of March 16, which approves the consolidated text of the Law for the Equality of Women and Men and Lives Free of Sexist Violence against Women s. Applicants who are not up to date with their tax obligations with the Regional Treasury and with Social Security. 3. Amount of the subsidy To finance the aid covered by this call, the City Council has planned a credit of €3,000.00, in the budget item created for this purpose: 0230.480.335.30.02 Driving license in Basque. The amount of the authorized expense (€3,000.00) may be increased prior to the resolution of the applications presented by the body that has been assigned jurisdiction, due to the amount of the modification, without this giving rise to a new call. 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The bases will be sent to the BDNS and applications may be submitted from the day following their publication in the BOG. The applicant must apply for a subsidy once the theoretical exam has been passed.
