RECOVERY AND VALUE OF THE RIVER MARITIME HERITAGE

Official description of the call

1. Beneficiary entities Non-profit entities that have among their objectives the enhancement of the maritime-river heritage of Galicia and that meet the following requirements: - Non-profit purposes. - Develop your activity in the territorial area of ​​the province of Pontevedra. - Be owners of the assets subject to rehabilitation or improvement. These must be of traditional construction and typology, made with traditional elements and procedures. - Use the assets in sociocultural promotion activities; They cannot be used for fishing or aquaculture. - Not incur any of the cases of incapacity or incompatibility for the receipt of public aid or subsidies, in accordance with what is specified in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies (LGS). - Be up to date with tax obligations with the State Tax Agency, the regional Treasury, Social Security and the Provincial Council of Pontevedra. 2. Purpose Subsidies aimed at the recovery and enhancement of the assets that make up the maritime-river heritage in the province for use in sociocultural promotion activities. 3. Applicable legislation Subsidy bases approved by the agreement of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra of February 27, 2026, LGS, General Subsidy Ordinance of the Pontevedra Provincial Council, Bases for the execution of the Provincial Budget for the year 2026 and other applicable legislation. 4. Amount Ninety thousand euros (€90,000). 5. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be one (1) month, counting from the day following the publication of the call and its extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra and in the National Subsidies Database. 6. Other information of interest - Concession procedure: competitive competition. - Assessment criteria: those established in the twelfth basis of the call. - Eligible expenses: rehabilitation work on traditional boats in order to recover their original character or to preserve structural elements that allow the rehabilitation and maintenance of the boat; restoration and conservation works of the different traditional fishing and shellfishing arts and gear, tools and machinery, navigation instruments, communication and signaling tools, cordage, crafts and other elements linked to maritime and river culture; interventions carried out on the different types of constructions and facilities on land (warehouses, factories, shipyards, fish markets, fishing huts, piers and fisheries, among others) or samples of industrial and popular maritime-river architecture in the province. - Compatibility: yes. - Payment method: bank transfer. - Form of justification: through the presentation of invoices, the account justifying the expenses, the report justifying compliance with the conditions established in the application and the accreditation of due dissemination, in the terms provided in the eighteenth base of the call. - Maximum justification period: March 31, 2027.
