Official description of the call
Primeiro. Purpose This proposal aims to call by the Porto do Son City Council for aid for social inclusion and coverage of situations of social need (AISENS) for the year 2026. The nature of this aid is direct subsidies, and as such conditional on the financial availability existing in the corresponding budgetary year. Thus, the granting procedure in non-competitive competition (taking into account the object and purpose of these subsidies, it is not necessary to carry out the comparison and priority of the applications submitted), and will be processed in order of entry registration, therefore, according to the provisions of article 19.2 of the LSG, the requirement of establishing an order of priority is exempt from the applications submitted that meet the established requirements. Second. Concepts Aid for social inclusion and coverage of situations of social need may refer to the following concepts: - Basic food and personal and domestic hygiene. - Basic clothing - Attention to two expenses derived from habitual residence. - Accommodation expenses in an alternative and temporary place. - Pharmaceutical and health expenses. - Travel expenses. - School aid. - Other aid: aid for the care of situations of urgent and serious need that cannot be attended to by any of the concepts contemplated in the previous sections, after evaluation by the social worker of the social services department. Third. Regulatory bases Ordinance that establishes the regulatory bases for aid for social inclusion and coverage of situations of social need (Official Gazette of the Province No. 88, of May 11, 2017), with the modifications approved in the Plenary Session held on 05/22/2020 (Official Gazette of the Province No. 152, of September 15, 2020). Aid for the care of expenses derived from the habitual residence: - Electricity: Consumption can be subsidized up to a maximum of €300.00/year per cohabitation unit (with the exception of files covered by the Agreement between the FEGAMP and the energy supply companies for the protection of people and families in situations of vulnerability or social emergency, since in this case, the City Council will assume the total amount of the debt of the applicant). The electricity down payment due to interruption due to non-payment will also be covered; in this case, the amount required by the supply company will be paid. - Gas: Up to a maximum of €180.00 per year per cohabitation unit. - Rent of the habitual residence: up to three monthly rental payments can be granted, up to a maximum of €1,050.00 per year (€350.00/month) per cohabitation unit. - Aid for basic equipment of the habitual residence, minor repairs and cleaning and disinfection: a single aid per year, with a maximum amount of €3,000.00 per cohabitation unit. 1st month 2nd month 3rd month Total amountElectricity €100.00 €100.00 €100.00 €300.00Gas €60.00 €60.00 €60.00 €180.00Rent €350.00 €350.00 €350.00 €1,050.00 Aid for accommodation expenses in a temporary alternative location: The maximum duration of accommodation will be determined by the assessment of the need made by the reference social worker and by the budget availability determined in each call. Aid for pharmaceutical and health expenses: - Pharmaceutical expenses: Maximum €200.00 per year per cohabitation unit. - Specialized treatments, orthopedics, prostheses and corrective lenses: Maximum of €2,000.00 per year per cohabitation unit.
