Official description of the call
The Local Government Board dated February 26, 2026, at the proposal of the Rural Development Commission, has adopted, among others, the following agreement: First.- Approve the 2026 public call for the auzo-taxi service in order to subsidize the taxi service to travel within the municipal area to the inhabitants of rural neighborhoods who cannot use the regular public transportation service. Second.- Authorize an expense in the amount of €16,000, charged to item 1.1104.481.170.00.01.2026 Third.- The management of the subsidy will be carried out in collaboration with the agreed taxi drivers, in accordance with the agreement signed for this purpose with the Oñati City Council. Depending on the rural neighborhood, two different prices have been established: A) Arantzazu, Araotz, Urrexola: €18/trip VAT included B) Rest of rural neighborhoods: €12/trip VAT included The user must pay 3 euros to the taxi driver. Round trips will be considered two trips. Fourth.- The call approved by this agreement will take effect from the day of its publication in the official bulletin of Gipuzkoa.
