Official description of the call
Agreement of March 13, 2026 of the Local Government Board of the Manises City Council, which approves the call for the XL edition of the Solstici Awards for young literature in Valencian corresponding to the year 2026. First. Beneficiaries Any young person between twelve and thirty years old may participate, in the following categories and characteristics: SOLSTICI CATEGORY A – For young people between 12 and 14 years old who are studying at the Secondary Schools of Manises. This category can only participate in the short narrative modality. * SOLSTICI CATEGORY B - For young people between 15 and 17 years old, residents of the Valencian Community. *SOLSTICI CATEGORY C - For young people between 18 and 30 years old without any residence limitation. MODALITIES: Poetry, Short Narrative and Comics. Second. Purpose Literary awards to promote the use of the Valencian language. Third. Regulatory bases General subsidy ordinance https://www.manises.es/es/gestion-presupuestaria/pagina/ordenanzas-subvenciones Fourth: Amount Solstici CATEGORY A Modality SHORT NARRATIVE first prize 300 euros and second prize 200 euros • Solstici CATEGORY B Modality POETRY first prize 400 euros and second prize 250 euros. SHORT NARRATIVE modality first prize 400 euros and second prize 250 euros. COMIC modality first prize 400 euros and second prize 250 euros. • Solstici CATEGORY C Modality POETRY first prize 700 euros and second prize 350 euros. SHORT NARRATIVE modality first prize 700 euros and second prize 350 euros. COMIC modality first prize 700 euros and second prize 350 euros. The corresponding tax withholding will be applied to these amounts. The obligations contained in Article 14 of the General Law on Subsidies will apply to the winner as a recipient of public subsidies. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. The registration period will be from the publication of the corresponding call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia and until June 5, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Spain peninsula). Sixth: Other data. The works will be presented digitally in PDF format and maximum weight of 5MB. To do this, participants will complete the registration form that appears on the website www.mundoarti.com. The works presented must not be signed.
