First. Beneficiaries. Legal entities that are considered SMEs in accordance with the definition of article 4 of Order 1615/2025, of May 9, which approves the regulatory bases, that carry out the activity of transformation and/or marketing of fishing and aquaculture products, whose facilities are located in the Community of Madrid, on which the financial burden falls and are ultimately responsible for the expenses that are considered eligible for the realization of the investments. in activities for the transformation and marketing of fishing and aquaculture products. Second. Object. These aid are intended for investments in the marketing and processing of fishery products co-financed with the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA) in the Community of Madrid, under the provisions of the regulatory bases approved by Order 1615/2025, of May 9. Eligible actions and investments must be included among the following activities: - Promotion of quality and added value of products. - Increase in energy efficiency or reduce the impact on the environment, as well as improve the sustainable mobility of the distribution of fishing products. - Improvement of safety, hygiene, health and working conditions. - Promote the circular economy through prevention (eco-design and eco-efficiency), optimization of processes and minimization of waste, commercial use of unwanted catches and by-products, use of discards for the development of by-products, transformation of commercial fish catches that cannot be used for human consumption, and transformation of by-products obtained from the main transformation activities. - Promote the transformation of organic aquaculture products, under articles 7 and 8 of Regulation (EU) 2018/848. - The adaptation of operators to the compliance and certification requirements according to Regulation (EU) No. 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council or Regulation (EU) 2018/848 regarding organic aquaculture products. - Give rise to new or better products, new or better processes, or new or better improved management and organizational systems, regarding the transformation, conservation and marketing of products, including pilot projects. Third. Regulatory bases. This call for aid is regulated by Order 1615/2025, of May 9, of the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Interior, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for making investments in the marketing and processing of fishery and aquaculture products, co-financed by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA) and by the Community of Madrid. Room. Amount and financing of aid. The Community of Madrid will make the corresponding payments under Program 411A, Item 77303, of the General Budgets of the Community of Madrid for 2027, for an amount of 1,000,000.00 euros, distributed by requests until the available credit is exhausted. These aids are co-financed with 50% of the eligible investment, with 70% of the aid corresponding to FEMPA and 30% to the Community of Madrid. Fifth. Application submission deadline. One month counted from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid.
