Extract from the Agreement of the Governing Council of the Municipal Sports Institute of the Hon. Cádiz City Council dated March 19, 2026, which approves the CALL FOR SUBSIDIES UNDER THE COMPETITIVE COMPETITION REGIME OF THE MUNICIPAL SPORTS INSTITUTE 2026. FIRST. Beneficiaries: Clubs, sports and citizen entities and individual athletes with domicile and/or activities carried out in the city of Cádiz in the year 2026. SECOND. Purpose: The purpose of this Call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis and within the budgetary limits specified, to be granted by the Municipal Sports Institute of the City Council of Cádiz. THIRD. Purpose: Promote sports, especially grassroots sports, and encourage sports associations in the geographical area of the city of Cádiz. To this end, resources are made available to individuals who participate in national or international sports competitions and non-profit sports entities to strengthen their actions for the benefit of the promotion of sport in the following modalities: Line 1 Sports activities Line 2 Physical-sports activities on the beach Line 3 Sports entities participating in official competitions Line 4 Individual athletes who participate in national and/or international level events FOURTH. Regulatory Bases: CALL FOR SUBSIDIES UNDER THE COMPETITIVE COMPETITION REGIME OF THE MUNICIPAL SPORTS INSTITUTE 2026, approved by the Governing Council of said Institute on March 19, 2026. These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of its regulatory bases; in the execution bases of the budget of the Cádiz City Council for the financial year 2026; in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, in the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the City Council of Cádiz and in the remaining regulations that may be applicable. FIFTH. Amount: The budget allocation for the call amounts to three hundred thousand euros (€300,000.00). SIXTH. Deadline for submitting applications: 20 business days counted from the day following the publication of this Extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz.
