Official description of the call
1.- Object of the subsidy The objective of this program is the recovery of premises that are unused or without adequate infrastructure, in order to revitalize the urban core. This aid is intended to encourage the occupation of premises located on urban land and promote generational change in commercial activities, within the framework of the commercial premises recovery program. Likewise, these bases are intended to regulate and establish the requirements and conditions that must be met by those who wish to rent an empty premises and access these subsidies. The subsidies are intended to pay the rent for commercial premises located on urban land in the municipality of Azkoitia. The payment of the rental of these premises will be subsidized, as long as the planned financial amount is not exceeded. 2.- Duration of the rental contract and amount of the subsidy The commitment to the duration of the rental contract, which the beneficiary must sign with the ownership of the premises, will be at least two years. During these two years, the amount of the subsidy will be 50% of the monthly rental price, with a maximum of €250.00 per month. This aid can be received for a maximum of 24 months and will be counted from the moment the Azkoitia City Council grants express authorization for the activity. It is assigned to the budget item with economic classification 8000.480.431.50.01 for the year 2026, with a credit reserve of €42,000.00 for the granting of aid. 3.- Requirements that beneficiaries must meet People who rent premises to carry out the corresponding activity or who take over an already existing activity must meet the following requirements: a) Have a viable business project, linked to one of the activities specified in point 5.b) Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.c) Have completed the application form to participate in this program.d) Guarantee the presence of Basque in the project.
