Announcement from the Most Excellent Valencia City Council on the extract of the Agreement of March 27, 2026 of the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, which approves the call for subsidies for SUBSIDIES FOR ASSOCIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 2026 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/896352): First. Beneficiaries: Neighborhood Associations of the municipality of Valencia registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities, which meet the following requirements: - They are non-profit Neighborhood Associations. - Be constituted in accordance with current regulations and duly registered in the corresponding administrative registry, expressly indicating Neighborhood Associations / Neighborhood Associations in the name. - Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities prior to the date of publication in the BOP of the extract of this call and comply with the obligation to notify the registry of any modification of the data. - Have a registered office in the city of Valencia. - Have the city of Valencia as its scope of action. - Not be subject to any of the circumstances related to articles 13.2 and 13.3 of the General Subsidies Law. - Be up to date with tax obligations with the State Treasury and Social Security. - Not have outstanding debt with the Valencia City Council. - Have correctly justified, prior to the end of the period for correcting defects of this call, any subsidy granted by the Valencia City Council, except in those cases in which the corresponding justification period has not ended. Second. Purpose: The Valencia City Council, through the Delegation of Participation, Neighborhood Action and Districts and within the credits included in the general budget for the year 2026, calls for a procedure for granting subsidies aimed at Neighborhood Associations with registered offices in the municipality of Valencia, to enable and help with the general current expenses of their own operation and in general, provide them with support in their current expenses. The call will be developed on a competitive basis. The objective is to provide financial support to these entities to cover the current expenses derived from the maintenance and management actions of their activity, as well as to strengthen the self-organization capacity of these citizen entities so that they can better carry out their work. In this call, a novelty has been introduced: the possibility of increasing the amount received by a maximum of an additional €1,500, if the entities carry out in this year a program of activities commemorating the achievement of 50 or more years from the date of their constitution. Eligible expenses will be current expenses: rental expenses of the premises where the association has its headquarters, occasional rental of spaces for meetings of the entity, maintenance of premises, supplies (cleaning, electricity, telephone, Internet), consumable office supplies, generic editions of printing or advertising, maintenance of computer equipment, web pages, insurance, agencies, consultancies, federation and/or coordinator fees, etc., taxes and any other similar expense that constitutes current maintenance and management of the entity's activity. In the case of associations that develop a program of commemorative activities of an age equal to or greater than fifty years since their constitution, they may present restoration and similar expenses, expressly and motivated, and that are directly related to said celebration Third.
