Extract from the call: By Resolution No. CGC/2026/3161, of March 27, 2026, of the Counselor of the Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security, the “CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR THE PROMOTION OF INVESTMENTS IN ARTISANAL FISHING VESSELS OF GRANCANARIA FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF COMPETITIVENESS” was approved AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE FISHING SECTOR 2026”.Against the aforementioned Resolution, an optional appeal for reconsideration may be filed against the aforementioned Resolution, as established in article 123.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, before the same body that issued it, within a period of one month from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province. from Las Palmas. Likewise, the aforementioned agreement may be directly challenged by filing a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within a period of two months counted in the same way, in accordance with the provisions of article 46.1 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. Recipient: Persons with the status of owners or operators of artisanal fishing vessels, registered as active in list 3 of the General Registry of the Fishing Fleet in those modalities authorized for the national fishing ground of the Canary Islands, and who have their home port on the island of Gran Canaria, in which the requirements of the call meet, may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in this call. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to contribute to the improvement of competitiveness and diversification of the fishing sector, through the financing of investments in fishing vessels of the artisanal fleet of Gran Canaria. Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Amount: 70,000.00 euros. Deadline for submission of applications Applications to benefit from this call will be submitted within a period of TWENTY (20) BUSINESS DAYS, counted from the day following the day on which the extract of this call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas.
