Private companies may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, understood as such, self-employed workers, legal persons and entities without legal personality, all of them with a profit motive, that have workers affected by employment regulation files of suspension of the employment relationship or reduction of working hours, with agreement with the representatives of the workers, based on economic, technical, organizational or production causes, or due to temporary force majeure, whose procedures have been initiated during the month of February 2026, in workplaces. located in municipal terms of Castilla y León, determined under Agreement 16/2026, of February 26, of the Junta de Castilla y León, by which actions are scheduled for the recovery of the areas affected by the floods that occurred in February 2026. Second. – Object and Purpose. Order IEM/224/2026, of March 5, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies aimed at companies with workers affected by employment regulation files of suspension of the employment relationship or reduction of working hours, with agreement with the representatives of the workers, based on economic, technical, organizational or production causes, or due to temporary force majeure, in work centers located in the municipal areas of Castilla y León, determined under the Agreement 16/2026, of February 26, of the Junta de Castilla y León, which schedules actions for the recovery of the areas affected by the floods that occurred in February 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 47, of March 10, 2026. Fourth. – Credit and amount. The total amount of the call amounts to 100,000 euros. In accordance with the provisions of article 16.3 of Law 5/2008, of September 25, on Subsidies of the Community of Castilla y León, in relation to article 30.3 of the same law, and in order to meet a greater number of subsidy applications, the credits assigned to this call may be increased during its validity by an additional amount for an amount not exceeding 100% of the total. The amount of the subsidy to be granted will be the amount of business contributions to Social Security for common contingencies, settled and paid by the company, in accordance with those established in Additional Provision 44.1, sections a), b) and c) of Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015, of October 30, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law of Social Security, in the work centers for which the aid, not exempt, and accrued during the eligible period provided for in this call, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros per beneficiary. This amount will be calculated considering only the period affected by the employment regulation file, prorating incomplete months by day. Fifth. – Deadline for submitting applications. The application submission period will begin the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León and will end on October 20, 2026, unless the effects of the employment regulation file end before September 1, 2026.
