CALL FOR SUBSIDIES TO CITY COUNCIL OF THE PROVINCE OF PALENCIA FOR THE OPENING OF MUNICIPAL TOURISM OFFICES AND TOURIST INFORMATION POINTS. First.- Beneficiaries.- City councils of municipalities in the province of Palencia with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants that manage Municipal Tourism Offices and Tourist Information Points or in whose town a tourist information point is located. Second.- Object.- To collaborate financially with the Provincial Network of Tourist Information Points, in the financing of current expenditure – personnel and operating expenses – derived from the opening of Municipal Tourism Offices and Tourist Information Points located in their locality, with the opening of the information point being mandatory on the weekend, that is, Saturday and Sunday. Third.- Eligible actions.- -Remunerations or remunerations of the public service staff of the tourist office or tourist information point. -Fees corresponding to Social Security related to the hiring of customer service personnel at the tourist office or tourist information point. -Operating expenses (such as electricity, telephone, Internet connection or similar), as well as other essential expenses for the provision of customer service. -The City Councils that are beneficiaries of the subsidies provided for in these bases may present as justification the subsidies granted to the CITs, associations and non-profit tourism entities to collaborate in the opening of tourist information points or, where applicable, the invoices issued by said entities for the provision of the tourist information service contracted by the City Council. Fourth.- Amount.- The total credit for this call is €65,000.00. The amount of the subsidy will be that indicated in the bases. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications.- The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province, extending said deadline until the first following business day, when the last day is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday. Sixth.- The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia (https://sede.diputaciondepalencia.es).
