Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The Town Councils of the province of Valladolid with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants and the Minor Local Entities of the province of Valladolid will be able to obtain the aid that is managed through this call. To determine the population, the latest data published by the National Statistics Institute as of the final date for submitting applications will be taken into account. Second. Object. Subsidies are called, on a competitive basis, to City Councils with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants and Minor Local Entities in the province of Valladolid, to finance the organization of information, orientation, awareness-raising, visibility activities and celebration of commemorative days related to equal opportunities between women and men, the vindication of women in their different facets, as well as the rejection of gender violence in their municipalities. To this end, commemorative actions relating to the following days will be considered, among others: ? February 6: International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. ? February 11: International Day of Women and Girls in Science. ? March 4: International Day against Human Papillomavirus. ? March 8: International Women's Day. ? October 15: International Day of Rural Women. ? October 19: International Day against breast cancer. ? November 25: International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The actions may consist of cycles of conferences, talks, exhibitions, workshops, visibility campaigns, cultural, recreational or sports activities, cultural or thematic weeks organized by the municipality, training on equal opportunities aimed at municipal political leaders and/or technical staff of the City Councils, and any other action that meets the objective of this call. Among the eligible actions, the request by City Councils is also contemplated for the establishment of purple information and guidance points on violence and sexual harassment of women in the context of municipal celebrations, patron saint festivities, cultural weeks, sports activities, etc. The actions must be contained in a global project, in which at least one of the planned actions has the specific purpose of raising awareness and/or preventing gender violence. The project must be signed by technical personnel in which the objectives, target groups, calendars and development, as well as the expected impact of the actions, are identified. Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Valladolid (B.O.P. of the Province of Valladolid of March 6, 2006). Room. Amount. The total amount of the subsidies may not exceed the amount of sixty-one thousand euros (61,000 euros) distributed in the following budget applications for the year 2026: ? Budget application 503.23105.46200, the amount of 60,000 euros for City Councils. ? Budget application 503.23105.46800, the amount of 1,000 euros for Minor Local Entities. The subsidies granted may not exceed the amount requested by the requesting Local Entity. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will end after 20 business days, counted from 00:00 hours of the day following the day on which the announcement of the call is published in extract in the Official Gazette of the Province, until 2:00 p.m. of the twentieth business day. When the last day of the period is a non-business day, it will be deemed extended until 2:00 p.m. of the first following business day. Sixth.
