Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Individuals who are self-employed professionals (corresponding to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers of Social Security) who are registered with the Economic Activities Tax in the Community of Madrid, and companies, may apply for these aids, provided they meet the requirements of the second provision of the call order. Non-profit institutions and groups of natural or legal persons that lack their own legal personality, such as communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets, are excluded. Second. Purpose: Call for public aid for the year 2026 for bookstores in the Community of Madrid that carry out projects aimed at the modernization and innovation of their establishments and their business processes. The group of projects subject to the subsidy is the one aimed at technological renewal, presence of bookstores in the different local or specialized book fairs held in the Community of Madrid and training of bookstore staff (group 1), which will be financed from budget item 47399 of program 332B. Third. Regulatory bases: Order 511/2019, of April 2, of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports (BOCM no. 85 of April 10, 2019), modified by Order 969/2021, of August 23, of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports (BOCM no. 208 of September 1, 2021). Room. Amount: €110,000.00. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: Fifteen business days counted from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. Sixth. Payment and justification: The aid will be paid to the beneficiaries as an advance on account, being conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit, and in accordance with the liquid provisions of the Treasury, the constitution of a guarantee not being necessary. The deadline for the presentation of the supporting documentation for the subsidy and the rest of the required documentation will end within a maximum period of three months from the completion of the eligible project, and respecting in all cases the maximum execution period, counted from the publication of the granting order indicated in the fourth provision of the Call Order.
