Official description of the call

First. -Beneficiaries. To be a beneficiary of this aid, it will be an essential requirement that the beneficiary and, at least, one of the parents be registered with the beneficiary in the municipality of Carballo, with a neighborhood in the municipality, or emancipated with domicile in this municipality, and have a DNI, NIE or provisional NIF. Second. -Object. To help families with more unfavorable socioeconomic conditions to face the expenses derived from the schooling of their sons and daughters, the city council of Carballo calls for study grants for students in the 2nd cycle of early childhood education and Elementary or Professional Degree studies at the Carballo Professional Conservatory of Music. Third. - Regulatory Bases. The publication of the regulatory bases was carried out in the Official Gazette of the Province of La Coruña No. 66, dated Friday, April 10, 2026. Fourth. - Concession procedure. For the granting of aid, applications will be ordered from lowest to highest based on per capita income, with aid being granted to those applicants with a lower per capita income, until all available aid and credit are granted. Fifth. -Amount. For the granting of these aids, a total budget of 70,000.00 euros is allocated, 64,000.00 euros for study aid for the 2nd Cycle of Early Childhood Education and 6,000.00 euros for aid for the Elementary or Professional Degree of the Carballo Professional Conservatory of Music. The amount of the aid will be 200.00 euros for each student who attends the 2nd Cycle of Early Childhood Education and for students in the Elementary or Professional Grade of the Carballo Professional Conservatory of Music, 50% of the cost of registration for a single specialty for each complete course, not taking into account any single or pending subjects. Once the award has been made to all applicants who meet the requirements, if there is credit available in any of the aid lines, this may be used to grant aid to the other line. Sixth. -Deadline for submission of applications. Applications must be submitted within one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS).
