5. ENVIRONMENT AREA 5.1. SUBSIDIES TO GROUPS, ASSOCIATIONS AND ENTITIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVITIES OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL NATURE 1. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies aimed at carrying out activities of an environmental nature in the municipality of Arrasate. Those activities of an environmental nature carried out by groups or associations and entities throughout the year 2026 in the municipality of Arrasate will be subject to subsidy. 2.-Beneficiary persons and entities. Mainly those persons and associations or entities that have their headquarters and scope of action in Arrasate and, exceptionally, those other entities that, although not having their headquarters or scope of action in Arrasate, develop activities or projects considered of interest by the City Council and whose objectives include conservation, recovery, defense, dissemination, awareness-raising, protection, etc., will be eligible for this aid. of the environment. The beneficiary persons or entities must meet the conditions required in the ordinance regarding the obligation to register in the corresponding public registry. 3. Administrative unit in charge of processing Applications will be processed by the Environmental administrative unit. 4. Up to a maximum of 14 points. c) Degree of innovation of the activity, up to a maximum of 14 points. d) Environmental improvement, and in the knowledge of the environment itself, derived from the execution of the project (if possible quantifiable through improvement indicators), and implementation possibilities by the City Council, derived from experience, up to a maximum of 14 points. e) Improvement in knowledge and conservation of the Environment, if possible related to the reduction of CO2 emissions, up to a maximum of 14 points. f) Promotion of knowledge - use of renewable energies, up to a maximum of 10 points. g) Promotion of knowledge of the value and service that different ecosystems provide to society (in relation to the quality of water, air, soil, biodiversity, etc.) and the influence of human intervention in each of them up to a maximum of 14 points. In any case, to obtain the aid provided for in this program, the projects presented must obtain a minimum score of 50 points. Only expenses that, unequivocally, respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are strictly necessary for its achievement will be eligible for subsidies. Personnel expenses may not exceed 50% of eligible expenses. 5. Budget The amount of aid called through this program amounts to €5,000, and will be financed from the budget item “1.0510.481.172.00.00” - Environmental Entities Subsidy". If the budget allocation is not enough to cover the total number of requests according to the previous scale, the corresponding proration will be applied to the total concession. 6. Additional clause In everything not expressly included in this call, the Municipal Subsidies Ordinance and Law 38/2003, General of Subsidies and other concordant legal provisions will govern.
