Extract from the agreement of April 10, 2026 of the Local Government Board of the City Council of Cádiz approving the "CALL FOR SUBSIDIES UNDER A REGIME OF COMPETITIVE COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2026 OF THE MUNICIPAL DELEGATION OF FESTIVALS AND CARNIVAL-LINE 4: BURIAL OF THE MACKEREL." FIRST. Beneficiaries. Non-profit entities, groups and associations that are going to carry out the activity for which a subsidy is requested in the municipality of Cádiz and that, in addition to the requirements indicated in article 13 of the LGS, meet those indicated in the call. SECOND. Object. The regulation of the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, and within the budgetary limits that are specified, to legally constituted non-profit entities, groups and associations, with headquarters in Cádiz and scope of action in the municipality of Cádiz, for carrying out activities to be carried out within the framework of the BURIAL OF THE MACKERLE 2026. This activity is considered a traditional popular festival with a marked carnivalesque character and that marks the symbolic end of summer, so it is celebrated approximately at the end of August, usually in the La Viña neighborhood and La Caleta beach. The activities and programs that complement and enrich the official programming organized by the Municipal Delegation of Festivals and Carnival. ROOM. Regulatory Bases. CALL FOR SUBSIDIES UNDER A COMPETITIVE COMPETITION REGIME FOR THE YEAR 2026 FROM THE MUNICIPAL DELEGATION OF FESTIVALS AND CARNIVAL-LINE 4: BURIAL OF THE MACKERLE, approved by the Local Government Board on April 10, 2026. These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of their regulatory bases; in the execution bases of the budget of the Cádiz City Council for the financial year 2026; in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, in the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the City Council of Cádiz and in the remaining regulations that may be applicable. FIFTH. Amount. The budget allocation for the call amounts to seven thousand euros (€7,000.00). SIXTH. Application submission deadline.
