FIRST. Beneficiaries. People of any nationality who meet the following requirements may participate in this contest: - Be over 18 years of age on the day of submission of the application. - Be up to date with compliance with your tax and Social Security obligations and not be indebted to the Cádiz City Council for any reason. - Those who have already received any of the Ibero-American Cortes de Cádiz Awards, in any of their categories in previous editions, will not be eligible for the award. - A person who died prior to the presentation of the work will not be eligible for this award. SECOND. Object and Purpose. The Hon. Cádiz City Council, in collaboration with the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz, convene the II Ibero-American Cortes de Cádiz Prize for the Seas and Oceans to commemorate the first liberal Constitution that was promulgated in the city of Cádiz on March 19, 1812. With the second edition of the Cortes de Cádiz Prize for the Seas and Oceans, the Hon. The purpose of the Cádiz City Council and the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz is to recognize and reward a written or audiovisual work that stands out for its relevant contribution to the knowledge, protection, conservation or sustainable development of the seas and oceans.
