Family units with minors enrolled in First Cycle Early Childhood Education (0-3 years), Second Cycle Early Childhood Education (3, 4 and 5 years), Compulsory Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education (including Basic Vocational Training) and Special Education, who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid regulated in these rules: * Be registered in Mairena del Aljarafe on the date of publication of these rules. In this sense, the father, mother or guardian who is not included in the registration along with the minors will not be able to request aid. * Be a father, mother or legal guardian of minors (or adults who exceptionally continue at mandatory levels) enrolled in public and subsidized educational centers in the town or in other towns that teach classes not available in Mairena del Aljarafe. In the case of Special Education students enrolled in another location, the request of all minors in the family unit will be considered, based on the need for conciliation. * Not being included in any of the cases included in article 13, sections 2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, on the prohibition of obtaining public aid and subsidies. * The income threshold applicable for the granting of these aids takes as a reference the values of Threshold 1 that are indicated for the granting of aid and scholarships for study in the 2026/2027 academic year, and which are detailed below: NUMBER OF FAMILY MEMBERS THRESHOLD 1 (euros) Lower end Upper end 1 member 8,843 9,315 2 members 13,264 13,971 3 members 17,685 18,629 4 members 22,107 23,286 5 members 25,644 27,012 6 members 29,181 30,738 7 members 32,718 34,463 8 members 36,255 38,190 Each member additional to the 8th 3,536 3,725 * Source. Royal Decree 179/2026, of March 11, which establishes the thresholds of income and family assets and the amounts of scholarships and study aid for the 2026-2027 academic year and modifies Royal Decree 1721/2007, of December 21, which establishes the regime for personalized scholarships and study aid. * If it is not possible to consult the income data, express authorization will be requested to consult with the municipal social services if the family unit has been assisted in the last nine months. The following are considered eligible members at the income level: - The father and mother (or the guardian or person in charge of the custody and protection of the minor) who live together in the family home. These are the main breadwinners of the family and their income is computed at 100%. - New spouse or partner of the father, mother (or the guardian or person in charge of the custody and protection of the minor) united by a similar relationship, registered or not and who lives at home with the applicant, their income is computed at 100%. - Adult siblings who live in the family home. These are not considered main breadwinners and their income counts at 50%. - The parents' ascendants (grandparents, great-grandparents, etc.) residing at the same address are not considered main breadwinners and their income counts at 50%. - In the event of divorce or separation of the parents, anyone who does not live with the applicant will not be considered a eligible member, provided that a document proving the situation is presented (decree of divorce, separation, etc.). In the event that the situation of non-coexistence in the family home cannot be proven, the income of both will be computed at 100%. - The father, mother or guardian who appears in the registration, but does not reside there, will be counted at 100%, unless a document proving non-coexistence at home is presented. - Likewise, if the ascendants (grandparents) or siblings of legal age appear on the registration certificate, but do not reside at the address, it will be counted at 50%. For practical purposes, for the evaluation of the applications, it will be reviewed that the Family Unit declared therein corresponds to the Municipal Registration. Exceptional situations, such as there being more than one family unit registered at the same address, students enrolled in other locations that teach courses not available in Mairena del Aljarafe, students in a legal guardianship situation, are
