Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The recipients of the subsidies will be entities, institutions and non-profit organizations in the field of social services, understood as those that are registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities or, where appropriate, in the Complementary Municipal Registry of other Citizen Entities, regulated in the Organic Regulation of Citizen Participation, of the Hon. Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council and in the Registry of collaborating entities in the provision of social services of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands and meet the requirements demanded in Base 5. The requirements to apply for the subsidy, established in Base 10, must be accredited, initially, with a Responsible Declaration that the entity complies with each and every one of them together with the application. Once the assessment commission makes the provisional proposal for granting the projects presented, the entities proposed to grant the subsidy will be notified, granting a period of TEN WORKING DAYS to present the documentation established in Base 10. The projects for which a subsidy is requested, whose duration may not be less than six (6) months, nor exceed twelve (12), must comply with the requirements described in Base 6: Second. Object, conditions and purpose. The purpose of social cooperation subsidies is to encourage and promote projects that contribute to or complement municipal competencies and activities in the field of social care, according to the priorities included in the corresponding municipal social services plans. These projects, which must be developed within the territorial scope of the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife or have as beneficiaries people who reside there and are in a situation of vulnerability, social exclusion or risk of suffering from it. In accordance with the provisions of base 1 of the regulations, the projects must have an impact on one of the lines and objectives defined in the call and summarized below: a) Community intervention with groups or collectives in a situation or risk of social exclusion. b) Promotion of positive and stable family and community interactions/relationships. c) Promotion of necessary support for the development of personal autonomy. d) Support for protection in situations of lack of protection or risk of lack of protection (for children and adolescents, for older people and adults with disabilities and/or dependency, those with limitations in social autonomy or victims of sexist violence). Third. Regulatory bases. Specific bases that regulate the granting of social cooperation subsidies to non-profit entities in the field of municipal social services of the Hon. Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, approved by agreement of the Government Board of the City of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in an Ordinary session held on April 27, 2026. Fourth.- Amount. The total amount amounts to FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (400,000.00) EUROS, expandable up to the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND (513,000.00) EUROS once the amount has been modified in the municipal Strategic Subsidy Plan. The maximum amounts to be subsidized for each project will be NINETEEN THOUSAND EUROS (€19,000.00) Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be TWENTY (20) business DAYS, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. Sixth. Other data. a) Entities must present the documentation provided for in rule 9, in the manner indicated in the corresponding section of this call. b) Projects will have to meet the requirements set out in base 6. c) The assessment criteria are regulated in base 13.
