Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Natural persons who meet the following requirements, on the date of submission of the application, may obtain the aid managed through this call: LINE A): ATTRACTING TALENT 1) They must belong to one of the following groups: a. Researchers of university research projects. b. Self-employed people who return or new entrepreneurial people who return to one of the municipalities in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants who register as self-employed. c. Employed workers who return to one of the municipalities of the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants when obtaining a work contract in companies in the province. 2) Being born between 1990 and 2008, both inclusive. 3) Having been born in a municipality in the province of Valladolid that currently has less than 20,000 inhabitants, or having been registered, continuously or not, for at least one year in a municipality in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants prior to January 1, 2026. 4) Having returned to the province of Valladolid after January 1, 2025 since abroad or from a Spanish municipality not belonging to the province of Valladolid or intend to return, at most until the date of granting the aid. 5) Have resided abroad or outside the province of Valladolid for at least six months prior to return. 6) Be or have been abroad or outside the province of Valladolid exercising a professional, work or research activity. In the case of self-employed persons, it will be understood that they have carried out a professional activity if during the six months prior to their return they have been working for at least one month as a self-employed person. In the case of employed workers, it will be understood that a work activity has been carried out if during the six months prior to return they have been working as an employed person for at least one month and, at least, part-time. People who have temporarily moved abroad to complete their studies or learn languages are not included in this line of subsidies. 7) Be registered in a municipality in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants on the date of submission of the application or, where appropriate, assume the commitment to register if you are a beneficiary of the subsidy. To determine the population of the municipalities, the latest data published by the INE will be taken into account. 8) On the date of submission of the application, find yourself in one of these situations: ? Be registered as a self-employed person and have the registered office or productive center in a municipality in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants, or intend to register as a self-employed person if they are a beneficiary of the subsidy, provided that the planned registered office or productive center is located in a municipality in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants, no later than July 31, 2026. Only the application will be accepted, in this case, if it has not been effectively returned on the date of submission of the application. ? Employed workers, whose employment contract, concluded or intended to be concluded, is at least half-time and has a duration of no less than six months, as long as they establish their residence in a municipality in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants, as of July 31, 2026 at the latest. ? Have started or started a research project before July 31, 2026. Second. Object. For the year 2026, on a competitive basis, subsidies aimed at young people born in the province of Valladolid are being called for the promotion of measures that encourage their return, and their subsequent permanence, as well as for those registered in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants who for work reasons have to travel repeatedly by public transport on weekdays, on round trips on the same day, outside the province of Valladolid.
