Official description of the call
The Governing Council of the General Council of Aran on May 11, 2026 has approved the call for the granting of subsidies in the area of culture and language for the year 2026. The basic determinations of the call are the following: Regulatory regulations Specific bases for granting subsidies in the area of culture and language for the year 2026 Budget credit The expense of this call will be covered by the item 01.334.489.00 from the budget of the Conselh Generau d'Aran. Object, conditions and purpose The granting of financial aid and subsidies granted by the Conselh Generau d'Aran in the area of cultural dissemination and revitalization in the Val d'Aran. The temporal scope of execution of the activities to be carried out will include the period between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. Granting regime Competitive competition Requirements of the beneficiaries to apply for the subsidy Those set out in sections 5 and 6 of the specific bases Competent bodies for the investigation and resolution of the procedure The investigation will be carried out by the Department of Culture, Heritage and Politics Linguistics of the Conselh Generau d'Aran, and it will be the Conselh de Govèrn of the Conselh Generau d'Aran who will resolve the call through a reasoned resolution. If after this period no claims or allegations have been presented against it, these bases will be deemed definitively approved without the need for further agreement. SPECIFIC BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF GRANTS IN THE AREA OF CULTURE AND LANGUAGE FOR THE YEAR 2026 Article 1.- Purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of financial aid and subsidies granted by the Conselh Generau d'Aran in the area of cultural dissemination and revitalization in the Val d'Aran. Article 2.- Procedure The procedure for granting these subsidies is processed on a competitive basis, through the approval and publication of the corresponding call and in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, competition, objectivity, equality, non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency. The management of the files for granting these subsidies corresponds to the Department of Culture, Patrimòni e Politica Lingüistica of the Conselh Generau d'Aran, and its resolution, to the approval of the file by the Subsidies Commission of the Conselh Generau d'Aran in a session of the Conselh de Govèrn, following a report from the Department of Culture, Patrimòni and Politica Lingüistica. Article 3.- Eligible activities Cultural revitalization and dissemination activities. Aranese promotion activities. In both cases, a) and b) the activities carried out must be done entirely in Aranese. Eligible expenses will be considered those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are strictly necessary. These expenses include financial expenses, legal or financial advisory expenses and specific administration expenses, as long as they are directly related to the subsidized activity and are essential for its proper preparation or execution.
